What Is 5's

The Irish Sun FAI 5’s is a nationwide 5-a-side competition with 30 venues around the country. Contact us for details about the next 5s tournament in your local area.  Every year lucky teams will win the experience of a lifetime, to play at the Aviva Stadium in the annual Finals day.

If you are not part of a team, then don’t worry, we have lots of people already interested in playing and we can get you plugged into a team if you let us know. Also if you do not have a full squad and need players then simply click our Find a player/find a team area here

The road to being crowned Irelands 5-a-side champions:

Firstly you need to contact us on 0818 501555 and find out the dates of tournaments at your local venue.  Then register your team and select from our list of local venues. For the leagues, you will have a weekly 1 hour games on your chosen night.  For a blitz, there will be a 2 hour tournament held on a specific date at a venue near you.  The duration of the leagues vary at each venue from 6-10 weeks. Winners at each venue will win trophies, medals and more. If you top your tournament, then you will progress to the next stage with national finals.

The mens champions of Ireland will play in the Aviva Stadium in Autumn 2013.
The cost of the league per team varies depending on the duration of your league (including Vat & referee fees). A full 10 week league costs just €350, which works out at €43.75 per person or just over €4 per person.  You can sign up and pay in full online or you can sign up online and organise instalment payments with us to spread the cost over a few weeks. 

If there's a blitz at your local venue, then the cost will be €50  €60 for a tournament that lasts 2-3 hours.
